More progressive and metal oriented and very influenced by Gentle Giant and King Crimson, The Opposite of Hate was idealised by myself and Silvério Simioni over pints of Guinness in some Irish pub - in São Paulo.
When we started to put ideas for songs on the paper, it was easy to realise that we would need loads of help from other musicians (and very competent ones) so we invited Anna Stéfano, Erich Bruschini, Erik Müller, Fábio Souza, Kassio Todescatt, Marcinho Pereira and Marcelo Vanini for the task.
The core line up for the (so far only) album 'Beginnings' was Erich Bruschini, Marcinho Pereira, Silvério Simioni and myself.
